HELP! I'm desperate for some solution here and my doc has given up on me!
I used to have severe sinus headaches on my right forehead. Symptoms were
headache, thick sinus secretions that caused bad breath.. The doc
recommended a septoplasty. Went ahead with that. The headaches are gone.
The sinus secretions are still thick and the bad breath is still there
24/7. No amount of brushing, gargling with peroxide helps. Though they
help temporarily. Air conditioning/cold temperature seems to cause the bad
breath and thickening of the sinus secretions. (All this happens only with
my right side. The left is absolutely fine.) Today, I went for an allergy
test and it was confirmed that I'm allergic to some substances, including
some types of molds... but none of them were AC type of molds. Which
leaves me completely baffled and absolutely helpless...
I've tried saline with no results. Mucinex helps to about 20%. no more
than that. Surprisingly, benedryl helps a lot. It reduces the bad breath
by atleast 80%! If it weren't for the drowsiness, I'd stick to it.
All I want is a way to fix the bad breath.
If you can help me or direct me to someone who can help, I would
appreciate it!

A simple problem requires a simple solution: raw food and food combining of Dr. Shelton. No sinus problem, no bad breath. A gift for life!

I have heard that it can be an infection in the nose with a certain type of bacteria. It needs to be treated with a certain type of antibiotic for a longer period of time. Sometime the treatment needs to be repeated because the bacteria can be stubborn. Sorry I can't remember what the infection is called. Some people can carry it and not have any symptoms and pass it on to you, like a spouse. Usaually the docter recommends treating the spouse as well as you can pass it back and forth to each other. Hope this helps
