have nose stuffing and some of yellow mucus are full in my nose. If I see my family doctor , he usually let me use Antibiotic. but recently I read some research articles that mentioned about "abuse Antibiotic" and also said some countries abused Antibiotic, by doing this kind of abuse, Antibiotic eventurely will lost its function or effectiveness and b****e useless when it is really needed for some patients who have a serious problem.

My question is how we can realize it is " abuse" or " necessary" when we use antibiotic. Under some situations, we have to use Antibiotic, but in my situation, I don’t know if I should use Antibiotic right away or I should wait a couple of days until absolute necessary when I are having cold with mucus but not high fever. I asked my family doctor this question , but he never gave me a clear answer, I think he just wants to figure out the problem that current I have and he wouldn't have time to concern or discuss with patient for using antibiotic could cause future broblems.
